Deji Torey

A seasoned trade expert with over 16 years of of commodity trading experience spanning a range of sectors foremost of which being the Petroleum downstream sector – where he has developed considerable expertise in handling complex transactions in Petroleum Trading, Logistics and Marketing spheres.

His professional interests greatly influenced the progression of his career. Deji commenced his career as an Analyst in the Export Division of the  Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC)  subsidiary, Pipelines & Products Marketing Company Ltd (PPMC) before moving on to Linetrale as a Business  Development officer in 2007.

In 2008, he joined Oando Supply & Trading Ltd as a Regional Supervisor for the Company’s South-East branch  where he  oversaw the growth and development of Oando’s trading operations; recording unprecedented sales of over 300 million Litres of refined  petroleum products.

Armed with a proven track record for sustainable development in trading operations, Deji left Oando in 2010 to set up Venora Oil & Gas Limited. Venora Ventures limited is a subsidiary of Venora Group (a commodities trading company).

Venora Ventures is an independent agro-marketing and distribution company that commercialize the finest agricultural commodities for the domestic and international market.

Deji is a graduate of Middlesex University, London with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
